One of the British Generals was Edward Braddock . Edward Braddock was a very strong and wise leader. Braddock helped guide his troop to the French and Indian War.
John Burgoyne was a man of pursuit. He planned everything out, whatever he was going to do he followed through with it. John Burgoyne put together a project that was to single out New England. He was not alone though, with the assistance of William Howe together their plans succeeded. Later on John was nominated to be Commander in Chief.
Henry Clinton, was known for being the officer of the British Army. HE held a great service as being a general in the time of the American War of Independence. Henry Clinton was born on April 16,1730. He lived in Newfoundland Canada. Clinton had a son named William. Henry later died on December 23 1765 in London, United Kingdom.
General Charles Cornwallis was born on Christmas Eve in 1738. General Cornwallis fought against the Americans in the Revolutionary War. Although the Revolutionary War is one to be remembered but that was not the only battle they fought in. The Battle of Yorktown will always be very important because, that was the battle where the British surrendered. Although General Cornwallis was a great and strong General he lacked in success to win over the Americans and the French. Later on particularly after the war Charles came to be the General Governor of India. His life came to an end in the year of 1805.
General Thomas Gage , was born in 1719 in Firle , England. Thomas Gage went to schools with John Burgoyne, George Germain, and Richard Howe. IN 1743 Gage was nominated to be captain and entwined into the Earl of Albemarles Staff. Thomas participated in many battles that of which being Battle of Fontenoy, Battle of Lexington and Concord, and Battle of Quebec. Later on Thomas and his troop were badly over won at the Battle of Mongolia on July 9 , 1775. General Thomas Gage died on April 2 , 1787 in Isle Ireland.
